A Culver’s restaurant, the fast-casual chain known for its ButterBurger and frozen custard, is set to open its second location in Forsyth County next week.
Culver’s of Cumming will open Monday, April 29, at 5512 Bethelview Road. The restaurant will be open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day with the exception of a few holidays.
The menu’s signature sandwich is the ButterBurger, which is made with “100 percent fresh, never-frozen beef” and “a lightly-buttered and toasted bun,” according to a press release from the company.
And the menu’s signature dessert is its frozen custard, which comes in three flavors – vanilla, chocolate and a flavor of the day – and can be customized with more than 30 mix-ins and toppings.
The restaurant also serves Wisconsin cheese curds, salads, chicken sandwiches and fish dinners.
The Wisconsin-based company started in 1984 and has since expanded to more than 700 locations in 25 states. The Cumming location will make six Culver’s restaurants in Georgia, joining another in Forsyth County on Peachtree Parkway. Another is planned to open soon in Sugar Hill, according to the company’s website.
“We’re thrilled to bring handcrafted, high-quality meals and desserts to the community of Georgia,” said franchise owners Tapasvi Jaiswal and Manish Shaw in a statement. “We think it’s a wonderful area, and we are excited to become a contributing and active member.”
