FORSYTH COUNTY — Ticket sales have begun for one of the Cumming- Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce’s most popular annual events.

In partnership with the Lanier-Forsyth Rotary Club and Community & Southern Bank, the chamber will present the 2015 Economic Outlook Breakfast on Jan. 27 at the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center.

“Frank Norton Jr., the president of the [Gainesville-base] Norton Agency [real estate and insurance firm], always does this presentation for us and he does a great job,” said Laura Stewart, the chamber’s director of communications and events. “While he’s presenting very factual and data-driven topics, he’s a really great entertainer.

“Basically, he covers the data that his … Native Intelligence Report produces. That will share economic insight into northeast Georgia, the 400 corridor, our county and Cumming.”

Stewart encouraged all residents, not just business people, to attend.

“The information is so valuable to anyone that lives or does business in the area,” she said.

But those who want to attend must sign up.

“Get your registration in as soon as possible,” said Stewart, adding that the event has sold out for at least four years running. “… We always have a big turnout, and if people wait too long to register we … may not have enough space.”

As of Friday, about half of the 250 tickets remained. Stewart said that once the event sells out, then the chamber may start a waiting list.

The breakfast will start at 7:30 a.m. Admission is $20 for chamber members and $30 for non-members. More information can be found at the chamber’s website, www.cummingforsythchamber.org.
