FORSYTH COUNTY — Forsyth County is looking to part with some of its used equipment this weekend.

Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, the county will hold a surplus auction at 843 Canton Highway for items ranging from cars, mowers and trucks to office and off-road equipment. The event will go on rain or shine.

Items for auction can be previewed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and 8-10 a.m. Saturday.

Buyers can pay with cash, cashier’s check, credit card or a personal or company check with a current bank letter of guarantee. Credit card transactions carry a 3 percent processing fee.

The full amount must be paid and items also must be moved that day, unless other arrangements are made.
