Northside Hospital-Forsyth recently reached a new milestone when the Women’s Center marked its 5,000th delivery.

Robyn and David Crick of Hoschton welcomed twins Dylan Doyle and Mackenzie Katherine on April 14.

“It probably won’t hit us until we get home,” said David Crick of the family's two new additions.

The couple also has 16-month old Samantha Piper, born in 2009 at Northside Hospital-Forsyth. “We love it up here. We wish [the hospital] all the success.”

In recognition of the 5,000th delivery, the hospital’s auxiliary presented the family with two gift baskets and a bouquet of balloons.

“We are proud of the high quality care and service ... and are excited about this latest milestone,” says Melissa Sugg, manager of women’s services at the hospital.  “We look forward to many more.”

The facility, which opened in August 2008, offers comprehensive maternity and newborn services, including all private LDR and postpartum rooms, modern cesarean section delivery rooms and a full-service newborn nursery.

It also features a Level II neonatal intensive care unit with round-the-clock neonatologist coverage, a lactation center and high-risk perinatal diagnostics.

The local hospital is affiliated with Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
