CUMMING — The Georgia Mountains Regional Commission will bring its mobile training unit to the Cumming Library on Tuesday.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the public can take advantage of free services provided by the unit and its staff.

Among those offerings are help writing resumes, preparing for interviews and access to online surveys and assessments to determine job fit and suitability.

No advanced registration is required to visit the unit.

Micah Thomas, the unit’s instructor, said in a statement people always are interested in learning more about it.

“The first question people ask when they see the mobile unit is, ‘What is this,’” he said. “And the last question they ask is, ‘When are you coming back?’”

The mobile training unit first visited the Forsyth County Public Library System in November.

Due to the response from the community, the unit will continue to visit Forsyth on a monthly basis.

In addition to Tuesday, visits are planned for May 20 and June 17, each from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
