GAINESVILLE — A movie is filming this week in downtown Gainesville.

Heather Taylor, listing agent and property manager for the old Regions Bank, said “Thank You for Your Service” will be filming there this week.

The movie is about military members returning from war with post-traumatic stress disorder, according to IMDb.com.

Actors involved in the project include Miles Teller, Haley Bennett and Amy Schumer.

Jason Hall, who wrote the controversial 2014 film “American Sniper,” is the director, according to IMDb.com.

The property managed by 111 Green Street LLC is near the Hall County Courthouse and was recently used in filming a PlayStation network show.

This morning, crews were set up on Washington Street behind the federal courthouse.
