SOUTH FORSYTH — Big Vaults, a portable storage and moving solutions business, soon will open its third location in south Forsyth.

The warehouse at 8186 Industrial Place will create about 10 new skilled jobs, according to a news release from the company.

In a statement, owner Carlos Urrea said the opening marks the first expansion for Buckhead-based Big Vaults since the recession.

“As we see the housing market move, we are being proactive,” Urrea said. “This is our hub location that along with Buckhead and Norcross will serve customers in north Atlanta with the secure and friendly service that has made us so successful.”

Urrea, who started the business in 1987, said moving is among the most personable services.

“We come to your house and hold all of your possessions,” he said. “You’re entrusting a lot and when you store stuff, it’s an even longer journey.”
