The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its annual business awards.

The honors will be presented during the chamber’s Small Business Awards Luncheon on Feb. 23.

"We’ve received over 20 responses so far and we want to get as many as we can," said Jason Mock, director of the chamber’s Small Business Services Center.

Nominations are sought for eight awards, including Business of the Year in three size categories, Entrepreneur of the Year, and International Business of the Year.

Other honors include top business mentor and new business, as well as the Heritage Award, which is given to a company that has been in business for more than 20 years.

Mock said all nominations should be submitted to the chamber by Friday.

"We’d like to see a good number of entries by then so we can honor many of our most outstanding businesses," he said.

Mock added that nominations can be submitted through the chamber’s Web site at www.cummingforsythchamber.org by going to the events calendar and clicking on Feb. 23.

He also noted that sponsorships are still available for the luncheon.
