According to an award listing recently released by Glassdoor.com, the Northside Hospital system has a brand-new accolade to hang on the wall.
Among industry giants like Mark Zuckerburg, Elon Musk and Dan T. Cathy, Northside Hospital CEO Robert Quattrocchi has been named a winner of the sixth annual Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award. Quattrocchi was ranked No. 32 of the 100 CEOs honored by Glassdoor.
“This recognition is possible only because of the people of Northside Hospital,” Quattrocchi said in a Northside Hospital news release. ”The strength and dedication of Northside’s physicians and employees is unsurpassed — I haven’t seen anything like it in my career.”
Quattrocchi was one of two Georgia-based CEOs and one of more than a dozen healthcare CEOs named in the award listing.
The release states that Quattrocchi has been with Northside for more than 30 years and has served as its president and CEO since 2004. Prior to becoming CEO, he served in a number of different senior management positions including chief operating officer, executive vice president of finance and administration, chief financial officer and director of fiscal services.
“Mr. Quattrocchi has led Northside to become one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the Southeast, serving 3 million patient encounters annually,” the release states.
The release added that Quattrocchi received a 95 percent approval rating, shared anonymously and voluntarily by Northside Hospital employees over the last year.
“Winning a Glassdoor Top CEO award is a true acknowledgment of exceptional leadership, as it reflects the opinions of the employees who work with a chief executive every day. I congratulate all of this year’s winners on this significant achievement,” said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor CEO in the release. “The best CEOs are inspiring, trustworthy, and innovative and can be great motivators for people to bring their best selves to work.”
In the release Quattrocchi thanked his staff, praising their work and the work culture that they have created.
“Northside’s people make a huge difference every day, and it makes me very proud to be their colleague,” he said.
