The Forsyth County Water and Sewer Department’s 2011 Water Quality Report is available and will be mailed to customers with water bills throughout May.

The report, which covers 2010, provides information on where the county’s water comes from, what it contains and how it compares to standards set by the regulatory agencies.

In 2010, Forsyth County’s water met all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state drinking water health standards.

“Forsyth County takes great pride in serving our more than 46,000 customers, and in sharing this water quality report with them each year,” said Tim Perkins, director of water and sewer.

Additional copies of the report are available in the water and sewer department office, suite 150 in the Forsyth County Administration Building, 110 E. Main St.

Reports can also be mailed upon request by calling (770) 781-2160.
