FORSYTH COUNTY — Grand reopening events are scheduled this weekend at three Ace Hardware stores in Forsyth County.

The stores — in Midway, at Hammond’s Crossing on Hwy. 369 and on Hwy. 20 near Bethelview Road were purchased earlier this year by the Hardware Company Forsyth in partnership with Nashville, Tenn.-based Capstan Fund, led by Steve Curnutte.

Longtime Forsyth resident Darin Workman is CEO of Hardware Company Forsyth.

Officials have previously said the stores will feature expanded inventory and facelifts, including new paint and lighting, and the cash registers are being moved to create more space at the front.

Workman said in a statement that their mission is to “provide customers with convenience combined with superior service through one-on-one expert advice and assistance.”

The grand reopening festivities will begin today with ribbon cutting ceremonies as follows: 9 a.m. at 4715 Hammonds Industrial Drive; noon at 2000 Canton Hwy.; 2 p.m. at 4947 Atlanta Hwy. Activities include giveaways, food and discounts.
