SOUTH FORSYTH — A popular Forsyth County eatery will be featured on a TV show that airs this weekend.

“Atlanta Eats” will showcase Norman's Landing restaurant on Peachtree Parkway, across from The Collection. The program is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday on Peachtree TV (Comcast channel 7).

According to its website, “Atlanta Eats” is a weekly 30-minute program that “cooks up a hearty combination of engaging, entertaining, and informative local restaurant and food content.”

The show’s host is Steak Shapiro, a longtime Atlanta radio sports personality. Each week, Shapiro “samples signature dishes and sits down with chefs, patrons, and legendary local characters at restaurants that Atlanta loves.”

Norman’s Landing opened in 1995. Owner Bill Norman is perhaps best known locally for his generous philanthropy efforts in the community.

Over the past 19 years, he has raised more than $1 million for area charities through a variety of events, including ping pong and golf tournaments and spaghetti dinners.
