13 charged after undercover prostitution operation

GAINESVILLE — Thirteen people were arrested Thursday in an undercover prostitution sting carried out by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

The short-term investigation was carried out by agents from the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad assisted by the sheriff’s office.

The 13 individuals were all arrested on pandering or prostitution-related charges and were booked at the Hall County Jail.

Those charged with pandering were: Jacob Lee Cohen, 28, of Flowery Branch; Darrell Wynn, 46, of Buford; Dustin Keith Hunter, 32, of Dallas, N.C.; Abel Nunez Gonzalez, 45, of Gainesville; Francisco Antoinio Rafael, 30, of Gainesville; Augusto Bcilio, 22, of Gainesville; Juan Manuel Castillo, 22, of Gainesville; Eddie Chow, 66, of Duluth; Stephen Alexander Smith, 48, of Dacula.

In addition to pandering, Castillo faces charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and use of a communications device to facilitate a drug transaction.

Those charged of prostitution were: Sheryl Lorraine Surdyk, 33, of Winder; Seairra Chantenae Wilson, 27, of Lithonia; and Emminisha Anderson, 22, of Ocala, Fla.

Rebia Emantary Alize Brown, 19, of Gainesville was charged with being a party to the crime of prostitution.

Surdyk, Wynn, Wilson, Brown and Smith all declined comment when contacted Friday.

Attempts to reach the others were unsuccessful.
