4 arrested at local hotel by Forsyth County drug task force

Authorities say that four individuals were taken into custody on drug charges late last week after they were allegedly found to be selling and using heroin and methamphetamine out of a local Cumming hotel.

According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater, spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the arrests were made by the Johns Creek Alpharetta Forsyth County Drug Task Force after officers received a tip that drug activity was taking place at the InTown Suites Extended Stay on Lake Center Parkway in Cumming.

Rainwater said that on Friday, May 31, deputies began surveilling the location and immediately began to see what they considered “suspicious” traffic.

"We went to set up surveillance and immediately started seeing lots of foot traffic and car traffic outside one of the rooms," he said. "They had basically set up shop in two separate hotel rooms.”

At the conclusion of the operation, Rainwater said that four suspects were arrested and charged with various drug offenses.

Joseph Monroe Morales, 34, of Cumming has been charged with possession of a schedule II substance with the intent to distribute, sale of dangerous drugs, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.

Frances Quinn Flair, 31, of Canton has been charged with two counts for the sale of dangerous drugs, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.

Jake Douglas King, 30, of Dawsonville has been charged with possession of a schedule II substance with the intent to distribute, sale of dangerous drugs, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.

Bridgett Belinda Wise, 40, of Cumming has been charged for the sale, distribution or possession of dangerous drugs, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.

Rainwater said that Wise has also been charged with an additional offense for allegedly crossing the guard line of the Forsyth County Jail with concealed narcotics.

As of press time, Flair and Wise were held in the Forsyth County Jail under bonds of $25,705 and $31,315, respectively. Morales and King are being held under no bond.
