Two people are accused of having $41,800 of heroin, methamphetamine, pills and other drugs at a Buford campsite, according to authorities.

Meagan Victoria Feaster, 26, of Gainesville, and Jason Lee Watson, 40, of Hoschton, were charged with trafficking heroin and methamphetamine, among other drug charges.

They were booked Wednesday in to the Hall County Jail, where they remained as of Thursday midday.

The Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad and the Georgia National Guard Counterdrug Task Force developed information on Feaster and Watson that led to a campsite on Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.

Officers allegedly found 30.5 grams of heroin, 352 grams of meth, two doses of LSD, an MDMA pill, 8 grams of marijuana and 94 pills of various types.

“Additionally,” Lt. Don Scalia wrote in a news release, “a handgun, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and over $5,600 in cash were seized.”
