An Alpharetta man has been arrested and charged by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office with counts of sexual battery and child molestation, records state.

Eric Maurice Yarborough, 38, of Alpharetta was taken into custody at his residence on Thornborough Dr. in Alpharetta on Feb. 1, 2019, and was charged with six felonies, including sexual battery against a child under 16 and child molestation.

Due to the nature of the crimes alleged against Yarborough, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office refused to comment on the circumstances of his arrest or his alleged crimes.

Yarborough is being held in the Forsyth County Jail on a bond of $165,680.00
