A Canton man was arrested by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office this week, after he allegedly threated two people with a handgun during a road rage incident.

Authorities say that on Tuesday, Dec. 10, two individuals were driving down Canton Highway near Sawnee Drive when an individual, later identified as Jason Vanzandt Hodder, 43, allegedly pointed a handgun at them before driving away.

No shots were fired and no one was injured in the incident.

Hodder was identified by his tag number and was later arrested at his residence on Thursday, Dec. 19, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Nick Sotor.

Hodder has been charged with terroristic threats and acts, and aggravated assault. He is being held in the Forsyth County Jail under no bond.
