City seeks chief photos

Forsyth County News

The city of Cumming is making an effort to preserve local law enforcement history.

The city is asking for the public's help in tracking down pictures of those who have served as chief of police since 1931.

Specifically, the city is looking for size 8-by-10, color photos of the men in uniform, but will accept the best that can be provided. The pictures will not be returned.

Photos will be on display on the fountain level of Cumming City Hall with a copy of the information on file at The Historical Society of Forsyth County.

Photos should be sent to Linda W. Heard at 100 Main St., Cumming GA 30040.
