Cumming police arrests two for alleged burglary

Local police have arrested two men for an alleged burglary at the Dobbs Creek ball fields in Cumming

According to an incident report from the Cumming Police Department, William Detrell Lane, 33, of Roswell and Gary Lamont Butler, 36, of Nashville, Tenn., were arrested on Monday by City of Cumming police after being found in the Dobbs Creek ball fields conference room by a city employee Monday afternoon.

The report states that the men allegedly entered the building by force, and may have been living there for as long as a week.

Lane and Butler were charged with felony counts of burglary and possession of tools for the commission of a crime

Both were taken to the Forsyth County Jail and are under bonds of $22,240.
