Authorities have arrested a Forsyth County man for allegedly selling large quantities of THC oil to an undercover officer from the Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Forsyth County Drug Task Force in late June.
Alexander James Domke, 22, was arrested on July 6 and charged with the sale of marijuana, according to Cpl. Doug Rainwater, spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
Rainwater said that the sale allegedly took place in Forsyth County in late June, but Domke was not brought up on the charges until he was picked up in Dawson County during a traffic stop on July 6. He said that the sale involved a large amount of THC oil.
According to Rainwater, THC oil is currently on the rise as a drug of choice.
The Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Forsyth County Drug Task Force was put into place in January 2018 to crack down on drug related crime and allow law enforcement to split investigations between the three different jurisdictions.
Domke was taken to the Forsyth County Jail and is under no bond at the present.
