COVINGTON -- A Forsyth County man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after allegedly performing a sex act on a Webcam with an undercover investigator that he believed to be a middle school-aged girl.

According to the investigator, 33-year-old Andrew Vincent Skelhorn was charged with sexual exploitation of a child, electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor and computer pornography.

Skelhorn reportedly first made contact with the investigator in August 2010, when she was posing as a juvenile in a chat room.

Within minutes of initiating contact, he began acting inappropriately on the Webcam.

Newton County Sheriff’s investigators, with the help of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Skelhorn without incident at the home where he lives with his parents.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted with the computer forensics investigation.
