Authorities currently have one man in custody after he allegedly damaged five vehicles Friday afternoon by throwing blocks of wood and other objects out of his vehicle at passing cars.

According to a Facebook post from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Christopher Jones Kratzer, an 18-year-old male from Suwanee was arrested on Saturday afternoon in connection with the string of crimes.  

The post stated that between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Friday, five vehicles in the area of Windermere Parkway, Old Atlanta and Mathis Airport were reported to have been damaged by the occupant of a blue car, who was, “throwing blocks of 4x4 wood and glass paperweights at passing cars traveling in the opposite direction.”

The post stated that through information provided by the community and investigations by their deputies, Kratzer was arrested and taken to the Forsyth County Jail.

According to Deputy Jenny Belafi, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office, Kratzer has been charged with 10 felony charges, five counts of terroristic threats and acts, four counts of criminal damage to property 1st degree and one count of criminal damage to property 2nd degree.

Belafi said that Kratzer is currently being held under no bond, but he will likely appear before a judge sometime Monday to receive a bond.
