FCSO

FORSYTH COUNTY - The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office has one man in custody, and deputies are searching for two more suspects after a car chase southbound on Ga. 400 ended near exit 13.

According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater, spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the three suspects are wanted for armed robbery of the Shell Station off Jot Em Down Road in North Forsyth that took place at 9:15 p.m. Monday.

Rainwater said deputies spotted the suspects’ car traveling south down Ga. 400, and pursued until it was stopped by spike trap near exit 13.

He said that all three suspects fled the scene on foot, but that one of the suspects was subdued by a K9.

Rainwater said the captured suspect has yet to be identified and has been taken to the hospital with minor injuries from the dog bite. He said three K9 dogs are searching for the remaining two suspects, and there is a large law enforcement presence in the area.  A law enforcement helicopter is assisting in the search, which is covering an area along Ga. 400 south from exit 13, and along Atlanta Highway parallel to 400.
