Forsyth County Schools

An unnamed North Forsyth Middle School student was taken into custody by law enforcement on Thursday for making a threat of violence at the school, authorities say.

According to Forsyth County Schools Director of Communications Jennifer Caracciolo, the student was removed from the school with the help of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and is currently in the custody of the juvenile court system.

Caracciolo said that the student will receive an appropriate disciplinary consequence from the school district.

A social media post by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office states that the student has been charged with making terroristic threats.
