Suspected meth lab found in southeast Dawson
Authorities make two arrests
Meth Bust

DAWSONVILLE — Authorities busted a suspected methamphetamine lab this morning at a home on Hanging Dog Road in southeastern Dawson County.

Dawson County Sheriff’s Maj. Ray Goodie confirmed that investigators, along with emergency and fire personnel, were attempting to dismantle the suspected drug lab.

About noon today, officers wearing orange hazardous material suits were seen removing items from the home.

The lab was located inside a singlewide trailer set back from the road.

Marked with “no trespassing,” “private property” and security camera warning signs, the property surrounding the home was littered with debris, tractor trailers and dozens of presumably junk vehicles.

Sheriff's Capt. Tony Wooten said two suspects are in custody.
