Authorities say they have arrested a third teen in connection with an alleged gunpoint robbery that took place in the Settlers Lake Subdivision in north Forsyth on Monday evening.

Joshua Ivan Sanchez, 19, was arrested Thursday according to Deputy Jenny Belafi, spokeswoman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Cody Mitchell Witt, 18, and Nicholas Alexander Nickey, 19, were arrested Wednesday and charged in connection with the robbery. All three suspects are from Forsyth County.

The three men allegedly met with their victim at the Settlers Lake Subdivision clubhouse under the pretense of buying jewelry from her and held her at gunpoint to her steal cash, jewelry and other belongings.

Belafi said that they believe that Witt wielded the gun during the incident.

She said that no injuries were reported.

Court records show that Witt has had several run-ins with Forsyth County deputies in the past for charges including the possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license and littering.

Other records show that Sanchez was previously arrested by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in early January for possession of marijuana and driving without a license.

Witt has been charged with one count of felony robbery. Both Nickey and Sanchez have been charged with one felony count of being party to a crime.

All three have been booked into the Forsyth County Jail under no bond, as of press time.
