FORSYTH COUNTY — A Cumming man was arrested on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop last week.

Waylon Franklin, 36, was found in possession of 10 grams of suspected heroin, 7 grams of cocaine and 7 grams of marijuana on Sept. 15, according to Robin Regan, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

That amount of heroin would have been sold in 100 doses, Regan said.

Franklin was charged with possession of a schedule I or II substance with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, trafficking, manufacturing of marijuana and three counts of possession of hallucinogens.

Franklin, who had no prior arrests locally, is being held without bond at the Forsyth County Jail.

An investigation conducted by the sheriff’s office narcotics unit showed Franklin was making daily trips to south Atlanta and bringing heroin and other drugs back to Forsyth to sell to multiple customers.
