Trucker flees four-vehicle wreck in north Forsyth

A four-vehicle accident on Browns Bridge Road (Hwy. 369) at Six Mile Creek Park left one slightly injured late Thursday afternoon.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 5 p.m. on July 27, which temporarily shut down part of Hwy. 369, according to Deputy Doug Rainwater, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

The wreck, which involved three cars and a truck, occurred after the truck allegedly hit one of the cars, which pushed it into the car in front of it.

The second car was then pushed into a third car, the driver of which was not wearing a seatbelt, Rainwater said.

That driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Rainwater said the truck did not stop at the scene and drove away from the crash.

GSP is working the incident but did not have any further information as of Friday.
