A Suwanee couple faces drug charges after their arrests in what authorities say was an undercover operation.

Christopher Mack, 35, and Kim Haley, 47, have each been charged by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and trafficking cocaine.

In addition, Mack was charged with use of a communications device to facilitate the commission of a felony.

As of late Friday, they remained in custody at the Forsyth County Detention Center. A Superior Court judge will have to set their bond amounts.

Sheriff’s Investigator Gus Sesam said the arrests came as the result of a probe in which an undercover officer had several conversations with Mack before arranging to to buy cocaine from him.

The officer met Mack in the parking lot of a local restaurant on March 2.

"Once the exchange was concluded, both [suspects] were taken down,” Sesam said.

He said the couple sold the investigator two ounces of suspected cocaine.

Authorities then searched their vehicle and found cash and what Sesam said they think is cocaine and crack cocaine with an estimated value of about $7,000.
