• 21 tickets $20 (saves $6.25)
• 55 tickets $50 (saves $18.75)

All rides require more than one ticket each

• Friday: 4 p.m.-midnight
• Saturday: 10 a.m.-midnight

The Cumming County Fair and Festival is almost here, opening on Thursday, Oct. 6.
Fairs can get pricey fast, though, so to save a few dollars, The Cumming Fairgrounds on Castleberry Road is offering discounts and free admission to various groups on certain days. See what day suits you best, and take advantage of the deals.

Opening Day, Thursday, Oct. 6
• General admission: free for all ages
• Unlimited rides: $20 per person
• Key events: Forsyth County Extension canning, baking, hay, school scarecrow and giant pumpkin competition awards ceremony, 7 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 7
Key events: Atlanta Rhythm Section in concert, 8 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 8
General admission: free for all ages, 10-11 a.m.
Unlimited rides: free, 10-11 a.m.; $25 per person, must purchase between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (unlimited rides valid until close)
Key events: Miss Cumming Fair Pageant, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Senior Citizens Day, Sunday, Oct. 9
General admission: free for ages 55 and older; free student admission with school coupon (ages 18 and under) 12:30-2 p.m.
Unlimited rides: free for students 18 and under with student coupon, 12:30-2 p.m.
Key events: Bring seven non-perishable canned goods and receive one free adult admission benefitting Feed the Hungry Forsyth Inc.

Student Night, Monday, Oct. 10
General admission: free for ages 18 and under
Unlimited rides: $15 per person

Tuesday, Oct. 11
