Monday is the deadline to sign up for the 2010 Great American Cleanup, organized locally by Keep Forsyth County Beautiful.

The activities begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers will meet at The Avenue Forsyth for a rally and supplies before fanning out to clean up litter in different areas for two hours.

The groups will then return to outdoor shopping mall for a free lunch, as well as door prizes and retail offers.
