During its meeting Thursday night, the Forsyth County Board of Education approved two new principals for the 2012-13 school year.

Vickery Creek Elementary’s new principal will be Kristan Morse, who is currently principal at Silver City Elementary.

It was previously announced that Vickery’s current principal, Ron McAllister, will be the principal at Kelly Mill Elementary when it opens in August.

The board also approved Barbara Vella as principal at Chattahoochee Elementary.

She will replace Dave Culpepper, who is retiring in June.

Vella is currently an assistant principal at Vickery Creek Middle.
