FORSYTH COUNTY — The Forsyth County Board of Education on Thursday night received updates on several construction projects in the school system.

According to officials, the stadium concession and restroom area on the visitors’ side of the football stadium at North Forsyth High School is finished and has been given certificate of occupancy.

Over at Lambert High, however, crews are trying to finish a similar project before the next home game, which is scheduled for Sept. 19.

In addition, the canopies that are being installed at various middle schools should be complete by Sept. 30.

The board also discussed October dates for members’ training and qualifications for other schools systems they would like to tour.
