Coal Mountain Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization, or PTO, is kicking off the school’s 30th anniversary with a commemorative cookbook.
Family members of students, current and former staff members and alumni are encouraged to enter recipes.
The cookbook is expected to contain some 400 recipes, with proceeds benefitting the school’s accelerated reader program.
Cookbooks may be ordered through Sept. 8 for $12.
They will be ready for distribution in plenty of time for the holidays.
