CUMMING -- A group of 17 seniors at Forsyth Central High recently signed the subfloor of a new media center that is being built at the school on Tribble Gap Road in Cumming.

They participated in the signing during instructional focus and were led by senior class officers and assistant administrator Precilla Saint-Jean.

“While we will be in the new building next year, our current seniors will be moving on before then,” said Principal Mitch Young. “To honor them, we invited our seniors to sign their names on the concrete floor, ensuring that they will be remembered in perpetuity.”

The space is expected to be completed this fall.
