Forsyth County artists win 3 of 4 categories at chalk art festival

Some local Forsyth County students recently showcased their art skills using chalk at the 8th annual Chalk Walk at Heritage Sandy Springs Festival.

Lambert High School senior Devin Marquess took first place in the high school category, while Liberty Middle School seventh-grader Evan Young won first place in the middle school category.

In addition, Lambert High School art teacher Ashley Young took first place in the adult category.

The trio had six hours to create their piece on a 4-by-4 space of sidewalk.
