Forsyth County Schools holding meetings for federal programming input

Forsyth County Schools is seeking parent and community input on several federal programs and has scheduled three public meetings across the district.

Meetings are being held for all stakeholders to give feedback on the proposed plan for the 2017-18 school year that will be submitted to the Georgia Department of Education on July 31, including the school system’s Comprehensive LEA Improvement Plan and District Parent and Family Engagement Policy.

The meetings will be held on:

  • July 13, 11 a.m., South Forsyth High School, 585 Peachtree Parkway
  • July 13, 6 p.m., North Forsyth High School, 3635 Coal Mountain Drive
  • July 14, 10 a.m. Board of Education Central Office, 1120 Dahlonega Highway, room 380.
