FORYSTH COUNTY — The 2014 Forsyth Reads Together program culminated Tuesday night with a visit from author Lisa See.
Organized by the Forsyth County Public Library, the annual reading effort encourages the community to read the same book and enjoy activities related to it.
This year’s selection was See’s “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan,” which was billed as “an evocative story of friendship set against the backdrop of a nineteenth-century China.”
A crowd of several hundred gathered at the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center to hear from See.
The event was made possible in part through a grant from the Forsyth Arts Alliance.
