Eagle Scout

Seth Snyder, pictured here during a recent visit to Cumming City Hall with Mayor H. Ford Gravitt, is a senior and three-year cadet in the JROTC Marine Corps program at North Forsyth High School who recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Through his Scouting journey with Troop 39, Snyder earned 23 merit badges, the Arrow of Light, and achieved the ranks of Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle Scout. He is an active member of Mountain Lake Church, and for his Eagle community service project chose to construct two mobile podiums benefitting the children’s ministry at the church. After graduating from high school, he plans to join the United States Navy to receive education and training to help him reach his career goal of service as a firefighter.
