Open house for future students Tuesday at UNG-Cumming

CUMMING — Prospective University of North Georgia students can tour its Cumming campus and learn about the educational opportunities there during an open house Tuesday.

The event is set for 6 to 8 p.m. at the campus, 300 Aquatic Circle, which is off Pilgrim Mill Road at Ga. 400’s Exit 16.

The open house will begin with registration from 5:30 to 6 p.m. That will be followed by a short opening session in room 125, and four concurrent information sessions between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

An academic and student services showcase will conclude the event in the learning commons at 7:30 p.m.

Students will have an opportunity to explore the building between 5:30 and 6 p.m.

Keith Antonia, executive director of undergraduate admissions, said in a statement that those attending will “also learn about our academic programs, co-curricular programs and activities, financial aid, the admissions process and more."
