Ensign John Di Rito, who graduated from Pinecrest Academy in 2010, is the first alumnus of the private parochial school to graduate from the Naval Academy.
A former Pinecrest Academy student graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned as an officer in the Navy on May 27 in Annapolis, Maryland.
