Name: Grant Cloud
School: Forsyth Central High School
Grade: Senior
GPA: 4.28, weighted

Classes: Everything engineering-related, along with multivariable calculus, AP economics and AP government. Hardest class is AP physics C.

Next steps: Starting at Georgia Tech in the fall and hopes to major in mechanical engineering. “I did the STEM program [at Central], and I actually did the entire engineering course and I loved all the classes and want to help engineer stuff to help other people.”

In school: Varsity baseball and basketball; Central student ambassador; used to participate in a robotics club.

Out of school: Spends a lot of time cleaning up Lake Lanier through Shore Sweep, a community cleanup project.

Future goals: To design something that helps other people, while graduating from Tech with a degree in engineering.
