SOUTH FORSYTH — During a ceremony before Friday night’s football game against Centennial, the South Forsyth High School community paused to remember recent graduate Michael Gatto, who died Aug. 28 after he was severely beaten at a nightclub in Statesboro. Gatto, who had graduated in May from South, was attending Georgia Southern University. A 20-year-old bouncer at the establishment has been charged with murder in connection with his death.
