Erica Fried

Forsyth Central

Forsyth Central had their very first welcoming ceremony on Aug. 9 to introduce 27 new faculty and 500 new freshman to our Bulldog family, which is something no other school has yet to do. The Arena roared with cheers as we pepped up the newest members of the family and showed them the schools infamous heart and spirit.

Kevin Lee

Lambert

Seniors Trevon McSwain and Trevor O'Brien are two new faces to the Lambert football team this year. Starting at a new school as a senior isn't easy for anybody, but Lambert has welcomed both incredible athletes with open arms. McSwain (committed to Duke University for football) and O'Brien (top rusher in the county last year) are both very excited to be a part of our school and are hoping to make an exciting impact on our football team. Lambert will be playing both former schools of each player with the first to come this Friday against Lanier at The Horn.

Alli Prater

North Forsyth

The Raiders football team started their season off with a bang, thwarting Forsyth Central 19-6 in their scrimmage Friday night. North was up 13-0 by the end up the first quarter, during which Colton Miller returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown and sent the home crowd into frenzy. With the win, the Raiders became the only victorious high school football team in Forsyth County.

Dani Quintana, Caitlin Randazza

Pinecrest Academy

Pinecrest Academy kicked off the school year with a new student lounge and trailers to accommodate the growth of its high school. On the athletic side, PA brought back Girls softball team and is looking forward to a great season! Keep checking in with us to get updated on what is new in our school!

Erin Loggins

South Forsyth

South Forsyth volleyball has taken this county by storm in the past couple of years. From the outstanding coaching staff to the tremendous athletes, this team is the epitome of BUZZWORTHY. With state tournament appearances in the past, and their appearance in the Final Four last year, the bar has been set high for this team. I personally cannot wait to see what happens this season for the Lady War Eagles! #GoSouth

Dori Butler

West Forsyth

It’s a very new year at West Forsyth High School. A new principal greeting students in the hallway, new portables housing a new fully functional fire alarm system, new students of all grades making their way down the halls and a new Buzzmaker reporter running around trying to get the scoop on all of it. They can all be seen on the campus surviving one day at a time.
