THE BUZZ: Weekly ranking - Sept. 26, 2014
TheBuzz Logo web

Our new weekly print and video series where local high school students share "The Buzz" about what’s going on at their school.

Every Friday, sports editor Brian Paglia ranks the top 3 "buzzworthy" moments of the week that were featured in Wednesday’s edition.

Share your thoughts with us on Twitter (@forsythnews).

3. Simple Charity

Kudos to North Forsyth students for starting Simple Charity, a new club that buzzmaker Alli Prater highlightered that has ambitions of raising $100,000 to support causes such as hunger, education, shelter, etc.

2. A-bun-dantly clear style

West Forsyth buzzmaker Dori Butler went fashion-journalist on us this week talking about the latest "bun" hairstyle for guys. The awkward interviews were great. Bonus points for the Justin Timberlake music too.

1. Social media dangers

I didn’t expect Forsyth Central buzzmaker Erica Fried to get so hard-hitting this week. She highlighted so-called "bash accounts" on Twitter and the grief they can cause for high school students.
