Students at Lambert High prayed by the school's flagpole Friday for two students involved in a wreck Thursday night on Windermere Parkway.

Details of how the wreck occurred could not be immediately confirmed, but one of the students, a senior, reportedly suffered serious injuries.

She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where she was in stable condition, according to school system officials.

The other student, a sophomore, was not hospitalized.

“We ask everyone to send your thoughts and prayers to two of our Lambert students and their families after a serious car accident,” said Principal Gary Davison.

“In situations like this, we rely on our tight-knit Lambert community to lean on for support.”
