As rain poured down outside, it was nothing but fun and dancing inside as the Forsyth County Special Olympics athletes enjoyed their Spring Games. High school athletes went to Forsyth Central High School, where they participated in non-competitive activities such as badminton, basketball shooting, ring toss and hitting baseballs. Christie Karr, adaptive physical education teacher, helped reorganize the event, originally slated to happen systemwide on Central’s football field.
