A 2006 Forsyth Central High School graduate died in a single-vehicle wreck in North Carolina over the weekend.

According to a North Carolina State Highway Patrol report, Amy Katherine Glover, 25, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet vehicle that left Interstate 85 north in Guilford County, near Greensboro, about 10:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle went down an embankment and overturned before striking a tree.

Funeral services were Wednesday for Glover, who was a graduate and former library specialist at North Georgia College & State University.

She was employed by Full Media, according to her professional profile, and a former reporter with Atlanta Dragway in Commerce.

Her obituary described Glover, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, as a “meteor.”

“When she walked into a room, you knew it immediately,” the obituary said. “If you were her friend, she loved you with all of her heart and would do anything for you.”
