Forsyth County News

A family home in northeast Forsyth burned to the ground early Thursday morning.

The house on Waldrip Road was occupied, but no one was injured in the blaze, according to Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Kevin Wallace.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, said Wallace, adding that “at this point in time, nothing appears suspicious.”

The home is a total loss, he said.

A social media page set up for the family states a mother and her three children lost everything in the fire. Donation information can be found at https://www.facebook.com/prayersforamie.
