A firefighter suffered minor injuries in a Wednesday morning blaze that destroyed a home and claimed three family pets in northwestern Forsyth. Forsyth County Fire Capt. Jason Shivers said the firefighter, whose name has not been released, was taken to Northside Hospital-Forsyth for treatment. He was injured when he fell from a ladder, but was expected to be released later Wednesday, Shivers said.
